Since 2016, 3S Readymix has been focusing on reducing its carbon footprint.
3S has managed to lower the clinker consumption, which is the main contributor to the CO2 emissions in the cement production process, by replacing the traditional Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) with CEMIII cement, an eco-friendly type of cement.
This replacement of cement contributed to a total reduction of more than 60,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
